"I was on my way to work when someone placed a hand on my shoulder from behind. I removed my headset and turned around, only to see a man dressed in black and wearing a hat. He placed his hand on my face, on my cheek, and said, 'F**k off to your beloved Europe with agents and pederasts like you.' At that moment, I grabbed the steering wheel, which caused a cut on my hand as well. I fell down while struggling, and the man ran away. There was no one else around," Pikria Epitashvili told TV Pirveli.
She said she immediately called an ambulance and the police. The injured woman was first taken to the hospital and later to the police station.
Pikria Epitashvili has been actively participating in the ongoing protests sparked by the Georgian Dream party's decision to suspend the European integration process on November 28.
