Eter defeated Juhee Kim of South Korea, Daria Kurbonmamadova, competing as a neutral athlete from Russia, Pihla Salonen of Finland, Maysa Pardayeva of Turkmenistan, and finally, in the final of the women's 57 kg weight category, she triumphed over Japan's Momo Tamaoki with an Ippon.
Eter Liparteliani is from Lentekhi, Lower Svaneti. She is a two-time World Champion among youth (2019, Marrakech, Morocco; Vantaa, Finland, 57 kg), a European Champion among youth (2016, Vantaa, Finland, 57 kg), and a European Cup winner among youth (2016, Antalya, Turkey, 57 kg).
