At the last plenary session of the illegitimate parliament, the Georgian Dream party elected a deputy speaker of parliament using the parliamentary opposition quota. Sozar Subari's candidacy was supported by 86 members of the Georgian Dream party.

“The resolution has been adopted. I congratulate Mr. Sozar and wish him success in his role as Vice-Speaker,” said the Chairman of the illegitimate Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.
Sozar Subari’s candidacy for the position was presented by People’s Power. Today, one of the leaders of the political group, Guram Macharashvili, announced that members of People’s Power have decided to leave the parliamentary majority and establish a “healthy opposition.”
The first deputy chairman of the illegitimate Parliament is Giorgi Volski, while the appointed deputies are Giorgi Kakhiani, Nino Tsilosani, Tea Tsulukiani, and Sozar Subari.
The Georgian Dream party recognized the legitimacy of the 11th Parliament on November 25, despite the fact that the legality of the parliamentary elections was challenged in the Constitutional Court. This action violated the Constitution of Georgia and the rules outlined in the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.
None of the four political unions or parties that crossed the threshold in the October 26 elections recognize the legitimacy of the Parliament.
