The Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia, Rosaviatsiya, has granted permission to the Russian airline Red Wings to operate additional flights to Georgia.

According to the decision of Rosaviatsiya, the airline has obtained permission for regular international air transportation of passengers to the following destinations:
- Irkutsk - Tbilisi
- Novosibirsk - Tbilisi
- Grozny - Tbilisi
- Novosibirsk - Batumi
- Grozny - Batumi
- Novosibirsk - Kutaisi
The permit issued for each route allows for the possibility of conducting seven flights per week.
To operate flights to Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi international airports, the Russian airline must obtain permission from the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia.
Currently, Red Wings operates flights to Tbilisi from St. Petersburg, Samara, Kazan, and Yekaterinburg, and from Moscow, it operates flights to Batumi and Kutaisi. The airline also operates on the Kutaisi-St. Petersburg route.
Red Wings is one of the first Russian airlines permitted by the Civil Aviation Agency to operate on the Sochi-Tbilisi-Sochi and Moscow-Kutaisi-Moscow air routes following the resumption of direct air traffic between Russia and Georgia in 2023.
