The Euro 2024 qualifying stage play-off final between Georgia and Greece took place at the Dinamo Arena. The main and extra time of the match ended in a draw, 0:0. The fate of the game was decided in the penalty shootout, where Georgia defeated Greece 4:2. Giorgi Kochorashvili, Zuriko Davitashvili, Lasha Dvali, and Nika Kvekveskiri scored goals for Georgia.
The Georgian national team will play its first game at the European Championship on June 18 in Dortmund against the Turkish national team.
Georgia had a chance to qualify for the European Championship four years ago, but it lost to North Macedonia in the play-off final.
