Imedi TV is falsely claiming that Mtis Ambebi is using old rally footage because of low attendance at the Freedom March on October 20. Other propaganda media associated with the Georgian Dream party are also spreading similar disinformation, citing Imedi TV as their source.

“Due to the small number of people who joined the march organized by the opposition and non-governmental organizations on October 20, the mentioned media outlet had to use old footage to portray a larger turnout. Mtis Ambebi has used footage from old rallies, presenting it as if it is footage from the October 20 Pride event,” announced Imedi TV.
Out of respect for our audience, we would like to clarify that the video depicting the October 20 demonstration for the European future of Georgia, held at Freedom Square in Tbilisi, was filmed by Mtis Ambebi between 20:10 and 20:30, and no old footage was used in it.
